Let's take a tour!

So with a little bit of pushing from the family I am now comfortable enough to take you on a full blown tour, will you need photos from the day time? Probably. But for now you will take this and you will like it. Oh um sorry about that I have had it up to here with snowbirds and Christmas traffic so I'm a little on edge. :D

Welcome to my kitchen! Set inside the main room it features a 10' flat top island/bar ((one full slab of quartzite)), full under cabinet lighting, almost 19' feet of countertop space on the back wall, 5 burner glass cooktop, GE monogram double ovens, counter depth French door refrigerator, glass front beverage fridge, huge LG dishwasher, hidden trash and microwave, fully lit top display cabinets, and soft close doors and drawers.

Yes, I was really in the middle of baking chocolate chip cookies. When you get the craving then you just gotta go for it even if it's 9:00 at night.
You know you want some now.
But I won't lie I did shine my apples for this.
Heading back into this hallway....
I told you I wasn't going to be having those stupid 'boob' lights in my hallway! We got these great 'vintage' school house lights to go in here! The color on these really go well with the old bronze door knobs. The door straight ahead would be the garage. We only just yesterday started parking in there, but only because we misplaced the clickers. The door to the left is my pantry.
Gosh. This is where I start to cringe.
Yeaaa.... So it doesn't have shelves in it yet. Boy does it drive me mad! My cooking stuff is so cramped! But I can't really complain it's going to look amazing and it will give us a chance to really put in some sweat equity.
Yes. It has it's own window. I love it more and more every day.
Back out in the hallway is the dog station. One day ((when we get some power tools)) this will have a bench for you to put on your shoes and a hidden dog food drawer. For now though it's out of view from guests. That is a 4 gallon jug of dog water incase you are wondering, and yes the first time Syler knew it was free water he drank so much he pee'd himself. I am ashamed for him, that silly boy.
In this dark and creepy room is the laundry!
I may or may not have matched my paint chip to my washer and dryer. I also may or may not have added glitter to this paint.
The drink dispenser is perfect for detergent and I get to get rid of the ugly bottles. I found this one at home goods for super cheap but sadly I haven't been able to find one for the darks detergent yet. Dryer sheets are in a jar, they look prettier than in a box and they seem to keep their smell a little bit longer as well. We will be adding a top to this so that we will be able to fold in this room and not feel cramped.
It even has a sink. Still messy and cringeworthy.
Our blue room is next!
Gold mirror turned silver, ikea vanity and sink set, chalk white tile on the floor with white grout, white subway tile with an accent band.
I'm totally serious when I say we are still working on this bathroom. The paint we got was suposed to cover it but we ran out while having to do a second coat. Damn you Valspar. Can't say that I totally love Valspar paint. The colors may turn out good but they tend to be a little inconstant when rolling and have a streaky feeling, this might just be because they are fresh walls but I'm skeptical.
Right next to that bathroom is my craft room, D: oh artwork I'll let you out of boxes soon.
All of these paint pots are tester paints for possible colors in and on the house. I am a perfectionist.
On the complete other side of the kitchen we have guest bedroom number 2 or main guest room. I swear this teal and brass metal bed frame will have a bed in it soon, having to downsize to our rental really took a toll on our furniture. Try finding a large rental while having 3 big dogs and no hardwood. Nearly impossible. Our three bedroom rental was bursting at the seams with all of our boxes!
This is the 2nd guest bathroom or the mermaid bathroom. We dropped the ceiling height in this shower to 9' so you didn't just feel like you were standing in a cave. I have showered in this bathroom and it was dreamy! This is the smallest of the 3 but so unique. It has a full linen closet as well.
Pedistool sink keeps the room feeling open, no your knees won't even be close to this sink while you relax on the toilet.
I was going to be pretty sad if I had to have a shower curtain in this bathroom. It would be a damn shame to cover this tile and tile work. (It looks a little lime green on my screen but the tile is more of a seafoam green)
Hey kitchen!
You can kinda see my salvage farm house table. No chairs, no chairs before Christmas at my house either. We found a cute little unfinished furniture place and we will be getting our solid wood chairs in January! This will give me a project as well! Because they are unfinished I get to go crazy or keep them traditional.... Just have to wait and see.
I'll just point it out to you, there is not coffee table. You'll also notice no accent tables, lamps, and entertainment centers, this would be because we are waiting for salvage pieces. We can't wait to have a big colorful or ornate tv stand in this room. We will also be making our coffee table. Having a space this big you need to have a coffee table just as big, sadly most big box stores don't have larger items, even sadder is the fact that when we do find one it's chinsy looking :( beautiful HomeGoods rug though pulls in the grey walls. The couches will form more to the room once it's completed with tables and lamps. The outlets are still accessible from underneath the couches.
The double doors would be where our office is located. There is a light in there but I forgot to take pictures, it's just a bunch more boxes. It does have a huge double window in it that looks out into the front yard.
Wooden oversized fan for this area.... Didn't want to add a little standard dinky one to a room with 11' ceilings. Keeping on point with having a truely open floor plan. Perfect for celebrating or having our friends and family over.

If you live in Florida I highly suggest pocketing sliding doors. Weather like what we have been having lately makes these totally worth it!
Our latest add on would be our deck. She's beautiful.
We have a nice storage room out here as well. If we ever decided to put a pool in this can be where we can hide away any toys or floaties.
This slider is to the master bedroom, of you have ever owned a puppy you will agree that when puppy has to go you need to take it out ASAP, this is when this door comes in handy... Or when you sleep in late on Sundays and the dogs need to go out. No shame in my puppy dog game.
Back inside let's head to the master suite. I said suite. You can officially call it that when it takes up one complete side, front to back section of the house.
Through the double doors....
...lies my...um... Security system. He's not sleeping on the job he's just taking a little Christmas slumber. To the right is the master bathroom.
Have no fear the red carved wood screen will not be staying here since it blocks out all of our natural light in the morning. We have 5 different lighting options in this room. This is with the can light over just the soaking tub.
Just the chandy.
Or either one of the his and very vanity lights are on separate switches.
Just the walk in shower has it's own light as well. Even though the glass doesn't go all the way to the 10' ceiling this shower still acts as a steam shower as well.
From this view you can see the built in hidden shelves to hide all the soaps and shampoos.
The door on the right is another linen closet and the door on the left is the secret to keeping a marriage alive....
A separate toilet room. No joke here.
My vanity side.... Little messy. I haven't gotten the hang of having all this storage, I also am using this as a staging area for my outfit on Friday.

Back down the hallway is the second line of defense who just happens to be hibernating at this moment.... And The Hubs who is getting in some game time.
My walk in closet.
Fur coats and wedding dresses hanging side by side... Sounds so glamorous! I love that it is double the size of The Hubs' walk in closet. Heeheeheeh.
It's not that small there is tons more space behind the door.
The bedroom will get its own feature. I am halfway finished with this room and since it is more of a private space I would like to wait till it's complete before I show all of it. I still love the feature wall that my mom and I did together!
Kiss kiss to my 215 hanging crystal chandy.
Our gate. I love this gate. Love. Love. Love. This gate. I couldn't love it anymore than I do. It reminds me of the glass carriage that Cinderella drives away in.
I know I might have missed some here's and there's but you'll just have to come down and visit me or pop in for a celebratory drink with us. I will love to keep you posted on projects and decor as I go. If I missed a something that you might have wanted to take a closer look at just let me know... I've got a 5" binder filled with notes, ideas, receipts, products, and junk that I could blow your mind with. I honestly loved doing this project, being able to build this home from the ground up has been more than rewarding am I sad that the bones of the place have come to and end? Not one bit. But I am super excited to cover the walls and make it more of a home. We are Sunday project people and we will take our time. After all, we have the rest of our lives to get this house where we want it.
